Rafael USA has introduced the L-Spike 4X loitering missile at the AUSA conference in Washington DC. This new variant in the Spike missile family features a 40km range, surpassing the existing Spike NLOS missile. The L-Spike 4X functions as a loitering missile,
capable of autonomous flight and target identification using artificial intelligence. Designed for launch from existing Spike NLOS launchers, the missile can be integrated onto vehicles with minimal modifications. The introduction of this missile addresses the need for faster, more cost-effective air defense solutions amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.
