Ghana's Ministry of Defence has entered into a significant contract with Airbus Helicopters for the acquisition of four advanced helicopters, including the ACH160, which is recognized as the world's most
technologically advanced helicopter. This deal, which also includes two H175M multi-mission helicopters and one ACH175, marks a substantial upgrade to Ghana's rotary-wing capabilities. Arnaud Montalvo, Head of Africa and the Middle East at Airbus Helicopters, emphasized the importance of this agreement, highlighting the versatility of the H175M in defense and security missions. The ACH160, known for its state-of-the-art avionics and customizable cabin, will be used for VVIP transport and government missions.
