Synergy Marine Group, in collaboration with Karpowership, has completed the conversion of a 125,000 m3 LNG carrier into a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU), named Karadeniz LNGT Powership Americas. Delivered at Seatrium's Admiralty Yard in Singapore, the conversion was managed by Synergy on a turnkey basis, covering design, engineering, procurement, and site supervision. The FSRU, with a regasification capacity of up to 150 mmscfd, is designed for integration with Karpowership's multi-fuel fleet, providing LNG-to-power solutions in regions with limited onshore gas infrastructure. Key upgrades include steel renewal, cryogenic piping integration, and safety enhancements for LNG transfer operations.
