Yitzhak Bendahan, a seasoned paramedic with Magen David Adom (MDA), delivered his own baby daughter in an ambulance while en route to the hospital. Bendahan's wife, Yael, went into advanced labor as they were traveling to Hadassah-University Medical Center
in Jerusalem. Realizing they would not reach the hospital in time, Bendahan stopped the ambulance and successfully delivered the baby on the roadside. The couple had not known the gender of their child beforehand, adding to the excitement of the unexpected delivery.
