What's Happening?
The Indian government has consolidated 29 different labour laws into four broad labour codes, aiming to simplify the regulatory system. These codes include the Code on Wages, Industrial Relations Code,
Code on Social Security, and Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code.
