What's Happening?

Eti Freiberger from Kibbutz Adamit and Sheherazade Bargut Sweidan from Arab al-Aramshe have initiated a grassroots project called Rolling, aimed at fostering coexistence between Jewish and Arab communities through cooking. The project involves women from both communities preparing traditional dishes like grape leaves and sushi, sharing stories and building friendships. The initiative has expanded to include a program called Leading Change, which focuses on strengthening ties between teenage girls from both communities. The project has received support from organizations such as Tzafona and HaBayta, in cooperation with the Education Ministry and Jewish federations worldwide.
