Amaroq, a Greenland-based mining company, has announced the discovery of rare earth element (REE) mineralization within the Nunarsuit mineral license area in South Greenland. This marks Amaroq's first
confirmed high-grade REE occurrence, with the Ilua pegmatite zone showing grades up to 2.31% total rare earth oxide. The discovery is part of a joint venture and represents a strategic entry into the REE and critical minerals sector. The Ilua zone is located in the Gardar igneous province, known for its significant REE resources.
