Barbara Hanford Hanna, aged 83, passed away peacefully on March 16th in Bradenton, Florida, surrounded by her family. Born in Rochester, New York, on March 21, 1942, she was the eldest of six children. Barbara and her husband, Mike Hanna, settled in Rochester after
living in various locations across the United States. Together, they raised four children. Barbara was known for her love of outdoor activities such as tennis and skiing, and she was an avid gardener. She also achieved the status of Life Master in bridge and enjoyed word games like Wordle. Her community involvement included volunteering with the Perinton Ambulance, serving as a ski patrol member, and contributing to a local hospice house. Barbara is remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the many friendships she cultivated throughout her life. She is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren, and joins her children Greg and Liz in heaven. A funeral mass will be held in her honor at St. John of Rochester Church in Fairport, New York.
