The White County Master Gardeners have awarded their 2026 Agriculture Scholarship to Madalyn Johnson, a graduating senior from White County Central High School. Johnson, who plans to pursue a degree in agriculture, was selected for her strong academic

The scholarship provides $1,000 per semester, totaling up to $2,000, and is funded through the efforts of the Master Gardener program and community donations. Sherri Sanders, White County Extension Agent for Agriculture, expressed pride in supporting students like Johnson who represent the future of agriculture in the community.
