The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office has arrested two juveniles following an investigation that began with a self-inflicted gunshot wound incident. On May 9, a 16-year-old was admitted to a Cottonwood hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, which was later
determined to be self-inflicted. The investigation led to the discovery of a series of vehicle thefts and burglaries in the Cottonwood area. Evidence, including video footage, linked the juveniles to these crimes. Both suspects face charges of weapons misconduct and burglary, while the Cottonwood Police Department continues to investigate the vehicle thefts.
