RuralEdge, a housing organization, is hosting a leasing event for Newport Crossing apartments on May 27. The event, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., invites potential renters to visit 119 Clermont Terrace, Newport, for application assistance and property
tours. Newport Crossing offers 40 new units, including family-sized townhouses and garden flats, as well as renovated units in the historic Sacred Heart Convent. These homes are designed to be permanently affordable, with rents ranging from $933 to $1,343 per month, inclusive of utilities and amenities. The development is part of a broader effort to address housing needs in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, supported by federal, state, and private investments.
