What's Happening?
Reflections of Little Red Dot is a mixed reality experience created by Chloé Lee that delves into the effects of Singapore's rapid urban development on its communities. The project uses intimate conversations and personal stories, filmed in 2015, to explore themes of time, memory, diaspora, and place. By incorporating archival footage within a 3D environment, the experience highlights the transformation of Singaporean communities since the country's independence in 1965. The project premiered at SXSW 2025 and was recently showcased at Venice Immersive 2025. Participants engage with the experience by using a faux projector to view clips, which are activated by inserting cards into a slot while wearing a Quest 3 headset.
