Jennie C. Whitney, born Jennie Finocchiaro, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, at the age of 96. She lived a long and fulfilling life, leaving behind a large family and a legacy of community involvement. Jennie was predeceased by her parents, Anthony
and Mary Finocchiaro, her husband Robert Whitney, her son Joseph Lanzalaco, and her siblings Pauline Valenti, Joseph Finocchiaro, and Santo Finocchiaro. She is survived by her children, Gail Lampman, Mark Lanzalaco, and Joy Ryan, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on May 26, followed by a graveside service on May 27 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
