Dubai has introduced the Dubai Sustainable Tourism (DST) Stamp, a program designed to recognize hotels that demonstrate exceptional commitment to sustainable practices. The initiative assesses hotels across 19 key areas, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and community engagement, under a three-tier system (Gold, Silver, Bronze). This year, 153 hotels received the DST Stamp, with notable recipients in the Gold Tier such as Atlantis The Palm and Jumeirah Al Qasr. The program aims to align local tourism strategies with global sustainability goals, such as Net Zero 2050.
