Club Med Launches First All-Inclusive Beach Safari Resort in South Africa, Promising Economic Boost

Club Med is set to open its first all-inclusive resort in South Africa, named Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari, located on the Dolphin Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Scheduled for a July 2026 opening, the resort will offer a unique blend of beachside relaxation and safari adventures. The development spans 32 hectares and includes 411 accommodations, featuring Superior and Deluxe rooms, as well as an Exclusive Collection Ilanga section with 66 suites. The resort will incorporate local Zulu culture through design and materials, and offer a variety of amenities including swimming pools, dining options, and a wellness center. Additionally, guests will have access to Mpilo Safari Lodge for exclusive safari experiences.

It is expected to create more than 800 direct and 1,500 indirect jobs, contributing to local economic growth.
