Aguia Resources has discovered a new vein at its Santa Barbara Project in Colombia, aiming to optimize mining operations. The company conducted a diamond drilling campaign to define the continuity of the Santa Barbara and Mariana vein systems, comprising
19 holes for 2,027 meters. Underground channel sampling on the newly discovered splay vein returned gold grades of 18.6 grams per tonne, 16.49g/t, and 9.51g/t. Executive Chairman Warwick Grigor highlighted the potential of this discovery to be a game changer, suggesting interconnected vein sets typical of major stockwork discoveries. Aguia has introduced a new management team, improving operational performance and gold recovery at the processing plant.
