A 36-year-old woman from Clarksville, Missouri, was hospitalized following a crash caused by a driver failing to yield. The incident occurred at MO 61 and North Point Prairie when a 32-year-old woman driving a 2022 Jeep Cherokee failed to yield while
crossing to southbound MO 61, resulting in a collision with a 2018 Ford Explorer. The Clarksville woman, driving the Ford, sustained minor injuries and was taken to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and were the sole occupants of their vehicles. The Missouri State Highway Patrol has not reported any citations for the driver who failed to yield.
