Žižović, aged 44, suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed near the substitutes' bench. Despite immediate medical attention, efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. Žižović had reportedly complained of nausea earlier that day. He had recently taken charge of Radnički in October, leading the team to a victory over TSC and a defeat in the Serbian Cup.
