What's Happening?
The federal government of Nigeria has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Niger State government to implement a mass housing and agricultural settlement project. This initiative, anchored by the Federal Ministry of Finance, aims to provide
100,000 hectares of land for the project, with the Certificate of Occupancy to be delivered soon. The project, part of the Sustainable Integrated Productive Communities (SIPC) initiative, seeks to address housing and agricultural challenges by creating structured settlements for farmers.
