be the first to undergo redesign, with construction starting in April and an estimated cost of $382,000. Oak Terrace's playground redesign is pending board approval, with construction slated for June at an estimated cost of $522,000. The redesigns aim to address issues raised during last year's consolidation of the dual language program, which led to concerns about overcrowding at Oak Terrace. The new playgrounds are expected to be ready for the 2026-27 school year, with plans to extend similar improvements to other schools.
