West-MEC, a career and technical education district in Arizona, is set to open its new Southeast Campus in July 2026. This expansion aims to enhance career and technical education opportunities for high school juniors and seniors in one of Arizona's rapidly
growing regions. The campus, located near Thomas Road and Loop 101, will be the largest in the West-MEC district. It will offer programs in fields such as Advanced Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, IT Security, Medical Assisting, Physical Therapy, and Welding Technology. These programs are designed in collaboration with industry leaders to ensure students acquire skills that meet the demands of Arizona's evolving economy. The initiative reflects West-MEC's commitment to preparing students for high-demand careers and reducing travel barriers for families in the region.
