What's Happening?
The Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, Florida, is set to host 'House Show: Power, Spectacle, and Pro Wrestling,' the first comprehensive art exhibition in the U.S. dedicated to professional wrestling. Scheduled for Fall 2027, the exhibition will feature over 50 works of painting, sculpture, video, photography, and performance, exploring wrestling as a lens for investigating gender, sexuality, and the aesthetics of violence. Curators Katherine Pill and Adam Abdalla have brought together artists with in-ring experience and those distanced from the wrestling arena, capturing the supercharged energy of wrestling. The exhibition will also include programming such as live events and talks from both the art and wrestling communities.
