Rosoboronexport, the Russian state-owned defense export agency, showcased an upgraded Bykov (Project 22160)-class corvette at the Defence Services Asia 2026 exhibition in Kuala Lumpur. The vessel is designed for multipurpose use, primarily for patrol
and maritime security, with modular capabilities allowing for various payloads. These include autonomous vehicles and UAVs, enhancing its operational flexibility. The vessel can also support a helicopter weighing up to 12 tonnes, making it a versatile option for Southeast Asian maritime needs.
