Jing Pengfei, head of the agricultural seed station of the Yuncheng Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, has been recognized for his contributions to modernizing seed breeding and crop management systems in the Yellow River Basin. Jing received the 2025
New Era Youth Pioneer award for his efforts in increasing high-quality wheat seed coverage to 98.5% and establishing numerous seed production bases in Yuncheng, Shanxi. His work includes developing a rice-wheat crop rotation system for saline-alkali soils, achieving significant yields.
