Gurney's Resorts has announced the acquisition of The Beach Retreat and Lodge in South Lake Tahoe, with plans to transform it into Gurney's Lake Tahoe Resort & Spa by Spring 2027. The renovation will include
extensive upgrades to the waterfront property, adding 206 guest rooms and suites, new dining options, a spa, and enhanced event spaces. The resort aims to offer year-round outdoor activities, leveraging its location for both summer and winter recreation. This marks Gurney's first expansion to the West Coast, complementing its existing East Coast properties.
