Allen Howden has been appointed as the General Manager of The Westin Yokohama, effective July 22, 2025. Howden brings over 25 years of international hospitality experience, having worked in Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America. He is a seasoned member of the Marriott International family, with previous senior commercial roles at W Bangkok, Swissôtel in London and Bangkok, and The Cadogan in London. Most recently, he served as General Manager of The St. Regis Singapore, where he achieved record-breaking guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and financial performance. Under his leadership, the hotel received the Travel + Leisure 'General Manager of the Year' award for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024.
