What's Happening?
A Cane Corso puppy named Perla, found abandoned and in poor condition near Rochdale Canal, has been adopted by a new family in Warrington, Cheshire. The puppy was discovered with a severe skin condition and was initially taken to Manchester and Cheshire Dogs
Home before being moved to an RSPCA branch in Southport. Sandra Hallows, who had previously adopted another rescue dog, found Perla on the charity's website and decided to adopt her. Perla is now thriving in her new home, receiving care and affection from her new family.
Why It's Important?
This story highlights the ongoing issue of animal abandonment and the critical role that organizations like the RSPCA play in rescuing and rehabilitating neglected animals. It also underscores the importance of adoption and the positive impact it can have on both the animals and their new owners. The successful rehoming of Perla serves as a reminder of the resilience of animals and the compassion of individuals who choose to adopt rather than purchase pets.
