What's Happening?
UN Women is actively working in Malawi to promote gender equality and the empowerment of women. The organization supports UN Member States in setting global standards for achieving gender equality and collaborates with governments and civil society to design
laws, policies, programs, and services that benefit women and girls. The Programme Support Officer role involves providing technical and administrative support to strengthen program delivery and stakeholder engagement. The officer assists in coordinating activities, facilitating communication and collaboration with donors, and contributing to donor reporting. The work is guided by UN Women’s Strategic Note 2024-2028, which aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Cooperation Framework for Malawi and the Malawi 2063 vision.
