The Sheridan County Commission has approved an application for a State Grant-in-Aid aimed at securing advertising funds for the county airport. Airport Manager Robert Gill highlighted the benefits of the grant, emphasizing its potential to enhance the airport's
visibility and service offerings. Commissioner Nick Siddle supported the application, noting that the funds would be effectively utilized. The grant application seeks a total of $100,000, with up to $50,000 expected from the state and a matching $50,000 from local sources, based on a 50% reimbursement rate for eligible costs.
