Furetank, in collaboration with FKAB Marine Design, is set to name a new tanker in its VINGA series at the Port of Uddevalla on August 28. This event marks a significant milestone in their 40-year partnership in vessel design. The VINGA series, known
for its energy-efficient design and environmental technology, has seen 22 tankers ordered to date. The new vessel will join the Swedish merchant fleet, contributing to the country's maritime resilience and security of supply. Sweden's Minister for Infrastructure, Andreas Carlson, highlighted the importance of this addition to the Swedish-flagged fleet, which now includes 105 vessels.
