What's Happening?
CSG Defence and FNSS have signed a framework agreement to establish Danube Defence Systems, a joint venture aimed at delivering medium armoured vehicle platforms. This agreement was finalized during the Eurosatory 2026 defence exhibition in Paris. The
new venture will focus on producing the CFL-120 Karpat medium tank and other variants such as armoured personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles. CSG Defence will hold a 51% stake in the venture, while FNSS will own 49%. CSG will lead marketing and manufacturing efforts, utilizing its existing facilities in Trenčín, Slovakia, while FNSS will contribute technology transfer and platform licenses. The joint venture aims to leverage the centrally-located logistics infrastructure and regional supplier network in Slovakia.
