DefendEye and EAGL Technology have partnered to integrate wireless gunshot detection with autonomous drones, aiming to reduce response times during active shooter incidents. The system combines EAGL's
AEROS platform with DefendEye's AI Search Drone, capable of deploying a camera above a shooter in under 20 seconds. The system operates through a 'Cloud-to-Cloud' bridge, requiring minimal infrastructure, and is designed for installation on light poles or mobile units. The EAGL DragonFly sensor detects gunshots and transmits coordinates to the DefendEye drone, which launches and navigates to the location, providing live video feeds to law enforcement.
