Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) recently conducted its annual Power to Care Week, a volunteer initiative aimed at supporting communities across Florida. This year, the event took place from February 16 to 21, involving over 20 volunteer projects in more
than 10 counties. In Sarasota County, volunteers dedicated their time to The Ranch of Easterseals Southwest Florida, focusing on maintenance and beautification efforts. The Ranch offers therapy, learning, and recreation on horseback for individuals with disabilities, helping them improve balance and unlock potential. FPL's initiative, now in its 18th year, underscores the company's commitment to community support, with hundreds of volunteers participating statewide. Jennifer Huber, FPL's Senior Community Relations Specialist, expressed pride in the employee turnout and the positive impact on local organizations.
