What's Happening?
Ohio State University Extension is organizing a two-day workshop focused on farm accounting using Quicken software. Scheduled for February 23-24, the workshop will be held at the Muskingum County OSU office in Zanesville, Ohio. Participants will learn
to customize a chart of accounts to align with IRS Schedule F, track farm input expenses, and allocate income and expenses to specific farm enterprises or locations. The workshop aims to equip farm businesses with the skills to build real-time financial reports and explore additional uses of farm accounting beyond tax returns. Registration is required by one week before the event, with a fee of $70 per farm business, allowing two participants per computer. The workshop is limited to 10 farm businesses.
