Margaret 'Marge' Gardner, a long-time resident of Naperville, Illinois, passed away on December 22, 2025. Born in Chicago in 1949, Gardner moved to Naperville in 1959 and became a cherished member of the
community. She was a dedicated educator, having taught at various schools including Annunciation Catholic School and Kennedy Junior High. Gardner retired from Naperville School District 203 in 2004. Known for her volunteer work, she contributed over 7,500 hours to Sharing Connections in Downers Grove. Gardner was also an active member of St. Margaret Mary Parish, participating in numerous ministries. She is survived by her husband Jim, daughters Carlye and Trisha, and grandchildren. Her life was marked by her commitment to family, education, and community service.
