Julio C. Yarzagaray, M.D., a retired family physician from Skokie, Illinois, has passed away at the age of 94. Dr. Yarzagaray was a well-respected figure in Chicago’s Pilsen community, where he practiced medicine for 60 years. He is survived by his wife,
Glorys, and his children Lina, Antonio, Julio, and John, as well as several grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A visitation is scheduled for February 27, 2026, at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory in Skokie, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Church of Ss. Peter & Lambert Catholic Parish. Dr. Yarzagaray will be interred at All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Ss. Peter & Lambert Catholic Parish.
