What's Happening?
The Children and Youth Major Group (CYMG) of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has opened applications for YEDx 2026. This initiative invites youth organizations worldwide to host Youth Environmental Dialogues (YEDx) to connect international
environmental governance with local action. Selected hosts will receive mentorship and resources from CYMG to facilitate these dialogues, which aim to empower young leaders to address climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. The program emphasizes local leadership and aims to integrate youth perspectives into global environmental policies.
