A hoax gun threat led to the lockdown of two Miami-Dade schools, Kinloch Park Elementary and Kinloch Park Middle, on Wednesday. Miami-Dade Schools Police received a call about a potential gun threat, which was later determined to be unfounded. Despite
the false alarm, the situation caused significant panic among students and parents. Aerial footage showed a large police presence and a crowd of concerned parents at the schools. A third school, West Miami Middle, also received a similar hoax threat. Miami-Dade Schools Police Sgt. Jandro Suarez emphasized the seriousness of the situation, noting the potential for accidents as parents rushed to the schools.
