the incident occurred at the intersection of Seventh Street NW and Q Street NW. The crash involved a Metrobus and an SUV, with the bus subsequently crashing into the front of the Balkan restaurant Ambar. Fortunately, the restaurant was unoccupied at the time. The injured parties, all adult women, included the bus driver, a passenger on the bus, and the driver of the SUV. They were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Efforts are underway to remove the bus from the restaurant, with D.C. Fire and EMS breaking up concrete to facilitate the towing process. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the police.
