The College of Central Florida will offer the state's first associate degree in precision agriculture starting Fall 2026. This program aims to prepare students for high-tech roles in agriculture, utilizing
drones, sensors, robotics, and AI to improve production and conserve resources. Developed with input from partners like the University of Florida, the curriculum supports Florida's growing need for skilled professionals in agriculture, the state's second-largest industry. Graduates will be equipped for roles such as precision agriculture specialists and farm data analysts.
