What's Happening?
The United Arab Emirates is set to open a groundbreaking Security and Rescue Training Center (SRTC), developed by the Sahra Group, with an investment of Dh180m ($50m). Scheduled to open in 2028, the center will offer advanced training for international
militaries, special forces, police, and emergency response teams. The facility will feature high-fidelity simulation environments for helicopter emergency response and OPITO Training, allowing complex training without deploying live operational assets. The SRTC aims to serve up to 4,500 personnel annually, providing realistic scenario-based training for high-risk operations.
