What's Happening?
ARX Robotics, a German startup headquartered in London, has introduced its Gereon unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2025 exhibition. The Gereon UGV, which has a payload capacity of 500 kg, features a modular design allowing for the integration of various weapons systems. An unarmed version is already in use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine for logistical support. ARX Robotics is collaborating with German transmission maker RENK to enhance the autonomy and mobility of its platforms, aiming to replace some manned missions with autonomous operations.
