Dolores Sibs, a beloved member of the Rochester community, passed away on February 25, 2026. She was a dedicated elementary school teacher for over 40 years, primarily teaching kindergartners in the West Irondequoit School District. Dolores was also an
active participant in various community groups, including the Rose and Hosta Societies, Shorewood Garden Club, and several writing and theatre groups. Her passion for gardening led her to become a Rose Show Judge, traveling to judge at local, district, and national rose shows. Dolores was known for her belief in lifelong learning and encouraged others to engage in volunteer work and community activities. A memorial service is scheduled for March 7th at the Holy Sepulchre Christ out Light Mausoleum Chapel.
