The Decrypting Diversity 2021 report, conducted by the National Cyber Security Centre and KPMG UK, reveals that 37% of neurodivergent respondents and 36% of respondents with disabilities reported obstacles in advancing their careers. Additionally, a significant portion of these professionals feel unable to be themselves in the workplace. Deloitte's Disability Inclusion @ Work 2024 survey further underscores the issue, indicating that workplace accessibility remains a significant challenge for individuals with disabilities, chronic conditions, or neurodivergence.
