What's Happening?
The New South Wales (NSW) Government is investing $52 million to boost renewable manufacturing sectors, creating over 100 construction jobs and 67 ongoing positions. This initiative is part of the $480 million Net Zero Manufacturing Initiative aimed at reducing
emissions and advancing renewable technologies. Key projects include Tyree Transformers receiving $22 million to enhance energy efficiency in solar and wind farms, and Optimal Renewable Gas receiving $20 million to convert agricultural waste into gas fuel. Hiringa Energy is also expanding low carbon ammonia fertilizer production.
