therapy experienced longer periods without cancer recurrence and fewer instances of cancer spreading, compared to those treated with Keytruda alone. Keytruda is the current standard treatment for melanoma. Moderna’s intismeran is still an experimental therapy, while Keytruda was first approved for melanoma in 2014. The trial included patients with stage 2 to stage 4 melanoma who had their tumors surgically removed.
