Helen Mildred Rubich, a long-time resident of Waukegan, Illinois, passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 96. Born in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, Helen had a diverse career, including roles at Abbott Laboratories and as the Financial Secretary
for the North Chicago Police Pension Fund. She was also a dedicated volunteer, contributing to school PTOs and the Lake County Crippled Children’s Clinic. Helen was an active member of the Croatian Fraternal Union, serving as Recording Secretary for many years. Her family will honor her request for no formal services.
