BGF has completed its exit from BB7, a London-based fire safety consultancy, after a successful partnership that saw BB7 expand into the UK's largest specialist consultancy in fire and façade engineering.
During the investment period, BB7 grew its senior leadership team, implemented new systems, and adopted a data-driven approach to decision-making. The exit generated a three-times money multiple return and a 21% internal rate of return (IRR) for BGF. BB7, now operating from ten offices with nearly 200 staff across the UK and Ireland, will continue its growth under Certania Group, with CEO Ben Bradford leading the Buildings and Infrastructure Division.
