Health, will produce the PermaNet Dual, a mosquito net with dual active ingredients designed to address the growing issue of insecticide resistance. The facility is expected to begin full production by April next year, with an annual capacity of 10 million nets and the creation of 600 skilled jobs. The launch event was attended by several dignitaries, including Dr. Abdu Mukhtar, National Coordinator of the President’s Value Chain Initiative, and Dr. Godwin Ntadom, Director of Public Health at the Federal Ministry of Health. The project is part of Nigeria's broader strategy to industrialize its health sector and enhance malaria control efforts.
