What's Happening?
Jeff Coates has been installed as the 2026 president of the Midland Board of Realtors (MBOR), taking over from Theresa Guthrie. The installation ceremony took place at The H Hotel’s Indigo Ballroom, conducted
by Teresa Quintana. Coates, a realtor with RE/MAX of Midland, has been a member of the Midland Board of Realtors, Michigan Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors since 2015. Alongside Coates, other officers include Bridget Sonntag as vice president and Brandon Lewis as secretary/treasurer. Additionally, Krista Martelli, the 2024 MBOR president, has been named the 2025 Michigan Realtor of the Year, recognized for her community service and contributions to the real estate profession.
